Science Alive visited Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden and viewed their amazing hydroculture systems to get inspiration and see how a major facility manages their hydroculture gardens. they had systems that spanned multiple labs and areas, with diverse plants from all over the country being grown in their systems. Fairchild even has a program running tha6t partners with high schools to make gardens capable of being cultivated in space! Even NASA is partnered with the gardens to make the idea of gardening in space a reality, with multiple Astronaut teams taking these high school-made plant systems to outer space.
